Ruth the Heron

Second Grade had their class play yesterday "The Eagle and the Wren". Ruth was a heron.
When the play was over Ms Almut gave each child a gift. She drew a picture of their bird and pasted it on heavy paper with a picture of the child in their costume. You can see the back of Ruth's picture, the white paper is a personal note she wrote to each child. It was great, a real treasure.
