Stages of a sandbox

Surfing the web

Mary wants a new stroller and crib.

She is currently hunting one down on craigslist.

Look what Ruth made

A country peach pie.

When Ruth's teacher calls me with a good report on her listening and following instructions for the week we get to bake on the weekend.

I fixed a flat

Mary's bike has had a flat tire all weekend.

I got the family size bottle of Slime and with Pigs help fixed her flat tire in time for family bike riding tonight.

Ruth

What can I say about Ruth?  She is sweet, smart, funny and delightful.  She is such a blessing, an amazing young lady.  Ruth is such fun, unique and personable, everyones friend.  She loves dogs, Monster High and reading.  We like going to the mall, Hot Topic is her favorite store, she is into the Goth look right now.  I am thankful everyday that God saw fit to give me such a spectacular little girl.

Oh dear heavens

If summer vacation is really over how did I walk into this?

Sand ALL over the floor, wet and sandy swim suits on the sink, and don't get me started on how that towel was clean this morning.

Ick!!!

Friday Fun

Hope your Friday is great.

The girls both had good days at school, yahoo!

At least the kids are having fun.

Getting ready for school

After buying school supplies last week I decided today was the day to pack it all up.

The girls are now ready to go back to school and I am almost ready to see them go.

Making bean bags

Ruth has a new teacher this year.  Her new teacher needed 30 bean bags for their morning circle and I (of course) volunteered to make some.  Here they are- traced, cut, sewed and ready to be filled.

Hair Dye

We bought temporary hair color for Ruth weeks ago and used it today.
Combing in the color.
Getting started.
And Ta Da!!
A Happy Ruth with black hair.
The color did not come off my hand, I hope it washes out of her hair tonight.

How cute is this kid?

Not to brag because I take no credit, but this little girl is awfully sweet and precious.

A lazy Sunday afternoon

Ruth is very crabby after a night of missed sleep.

Mary has caught my summer cold that I am still not 100% over.

Thank you Netflix!

Thank you to Mary for the unflattering photo of her Mom!
